The German Championships ended last night. Unlike other countries that decided to hold longer meets following the Olympic schedule, the Germans held only a four day meet without semi-finals.

On the last day Sandra Volker set a German record in the womens 50 free with a time of 25.09. Mark Warnecke won the mens 50 breast in 27.66 giving him the fastest time of the year so far in the event.
