Sixth World Record For Inge De Bruijn

DORDRECHT - On the fourth and final day of the Dutch LC Championships (June 1-4) Inge de Bruijn bettered the world record for the 50 freestyle. Her time of 24.48 was a 3/100ths of a second improvement over her record tieing time of 24.51 last weekend in Sheffield.
This brings to six the number of long course pending world records for Inge de Bruijn.
She's not done yet, as she's scheduled to compete next weekend in Rio de Janeiro at the Brazilian Winter Championships June 7-11 (50 m).
