News from the Swiss Nationals in Geneva

On the first day of the Swiss Nationals (50m) in Geneva (Switzerland) Flavia Rigamonti and Chantal Strasser made the qualification time for the Olympics.

Rigamonti also set a new National Record in the womens 400 m free with a time of 4:12.21 (Splits: 1:01.93; 2:05.92; 3:09.30). Strasser won the silver medal in 4:13.33 (Splits: 1:01.76; 2:06.39; 3:10.50). Both swimmers made the Fina-A-Qualification time.

On the second day, Remo Lutolf broke his own national record in the 100 m breaststroke with a time of 1:02.28. His time was also good enough to qualify him for the Olympics.
