Highlander Aquatic Club, the premier Central Florida local swim club, and Lake Highland Preparatory School, the leading private educational institution in Florida, are pleased to announce that Rick Benner has joined the Highlander Aquatic Club as a Senior Coach. As the coach to Olympic Gold Medalist Megan Quann, and National Champion Jamie Reid, Benner brings his proven track record to Orlando to help extend the fastest growing swimming program in Central Florida.

Coach Benner, most recently the Head Coach of Puyallup Aquatic Club in the Seattle area, is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, has been a USA Swimming National Team Coach for the last 4 years, and is sought after as a speaker at clinics and conferences throughout the United States and abroad. He will be assisting head Coach Mike Curley in developing and extending the total program of the Highlander Aquatic Club.
