UMass Men Fall To Columbia, 147-96

NEW YORK, N.Y. - Senior Chris Arsenault (Peabody, Mass.) won two events, but it was not enough as the University of Massachusetts men's swimming and diving team fell to Columbia, 147-96, Sunday afternoon. UMass is now 3-2 on the season.
Arsenault set a team season top time of 1:41.46 in his victory in the 200 free, while he also placed first in the 200 fly (1:55.25).
Freshman Ryan Fisher (Ventura, Calif.) gave UMass a win in the 50 free (21.66), while senior Billy Brown (Fullerton, Calif.) won the 200 breast in a team season top time of 2:07.99.
The Minutemen return to the pool on Friday, Dec. 1, and Saturday, Dec. 2, when they host Syracuse at Joseph R. Rogers, Jr. Pool.
