The first round of the World Cup Series gets underway in Dubai tomorrow, when 130 swimmers from 32 nations take to the water. The series, sponsored by Arena, will offer $1.2 million in prizes, will conclude in Singapore next month after eight rounds.

After Dubai on October 2-3 follow:

• Stockholm (SWE) October 13-14
• Moscow (RUS) October 17-18
• Berlin (GER) October 20-21
• Beijing (CHN) November 2-3
• Tokyo (JPN) November 6-7
• Singapore (SIN) November 10-11.
