CLEVELAND, Ohio - Ohio's Emily Bresser (swimming) was named the MAC Scholar Athlete of the Week on Nov. 7. Bresser (Sr., 3.89, communications, Crestview Hills, Ky.) had a spectacular weekend in the pool. She captured first in the 200 I.M. and second in the 200 breaststoke against Kenyon. Bresser finished first in the 200 freestyle, 100 freestyle and 200 breaststroke against Akron. She finished the week with two first place finishes in the 100 freestyle and 200 breaststroke against Buffalo. Bresser also placed second in the 200 freestyle against the Bulls. She has a 3.89 GPA in Communications.

The MAC Scholar Athlete of the Week honor is presented to a MAC male and female student-athlete who has a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better and performs well during that week's competition. The winners are selected by one of the conference's faculty athletic representatives.
